ASUS P8Z77-V Pro - driver installation guide

I have a new computer, purchased the first week of July 2012.  I've created this driver installation guide to assist anyone with similar specs.

Specs:

It's very surprising how little information is out there regarding the installation order of the software after installing Win 7 x64.  So, after a few false starts, I've documented the install order of my drivers.  It's rough, but should be useful to anyone with similar hardware that can read.

Update SEP 2012:  Some post install, production use changes I've successfully made

- Disabled WiFi in the BIOS and removed the software controlling it.
Never used it, didn't want it.  Reduces the network adapter count, perhaps helps performance.

- Set Intel SSD toolbox to run Intel TRIM command manually weekly.

- Patched Win 7 monthly.  No issues thus far.

- Installed the ASUS motherboard monitoring tool.
I don't use this much, but when I need it, I have it.  Mostly for temp monitoring.

- *Removed the Lucidlogix tool.  I would leave this off on a new install.  Not recommended by
a number of third parties and really doesn't work that well.

- Not sure if it's clear, but disable the onboard video and audio as I'm using discretionary
cards for both.  Do this prior to installing Win 7.

More 'best practice' things that the classroom never told me about

Symantec Endpoint Protection

There is a document on Symantec's site entitled "Terminal Server and Citrix Best Practices White Paper".  An excellent document with how-to guidance on stopping the little SEP icon from traveling over to a Citrix end user when running a published app.

Windows Updates

On all farm servers, be sure to uncheck the box "Allow all users to install updates on this computer".  The side effect (affect?) is that a Citrix user may be presented with your server's updates and it may actually allow said user to install them!  Why was this not touched on in class?

What finally made it start working

Two farm servers, a webinterface server doing double duty as the license server and a server for the data store.  All running Win 2008 R2.

Nothing was working.  The classroom instruction did not touch on the fact the Xenapp 6 out of the box would not function at all on a 2008 R2 box patched to SP1.  I found a lot of talk of hotfixes on the Citrix forums.  I installed the following 14 hotfixes (with a lovely reboot after each one) which actually started to make it work.

So, if you're about to embark on a vanilla Xenapp rollout to a bunch of 2008 R2 Sp1 systems, do not even try to use it until you've done each of these patches, and in this order.  There was a #12, but it was not necessary and was removed.
